Alaska Green Fair

The Alaska Green Fair is set to be the largest green event held within the state. Our mission is to create excitement and enthusiasm for green products, services and technologies available to the residents of Alaska. Further more, the Alaska Green fair will raise awareness of the sustainable choices available in Alaska while demonstrating a waste free, more efficient, environmentally responsible Alaska.
The Alaska Green Fair encompasses both Alaska certified green businesses and environmentally conscious vendors. The benefits of the attending the Alaska Green Fair are both positive for the environment as well as the individual.
The target audience and attendees of the Alaska Green Fair are environmentally mindful residents, consumers and those who want to become environmentally aware and active. The event is geared to inform, educate, and entertain homeowners, families, and businesses on what they can do to help make a greener Alaska.
Marketing for the Alaska Green Fair consist of radio, print and interactive media. These components will reach over 180,000 residents in South Central Alaska. Marketing for the Alaska Green Fair will begin February 16th thru April 11th.
The Anchorage Media Group will air x: 30 and x: 60 second spots for a minimum of 300 commercials to promote the 1st Annual Alaska Green Fair. The commercials will air on all six AMG stations and our new valley station which include KBEAR 104.1, KWHALE 106.5, MIX 103.1, KOOL 97.3, KFQD 750, KHAR 590 and Country Legends 100.9. A minimum of 300 commercials will air via the streaming link featured on all six AMG radio stations’ websites. Advertisements (leader board and flash player ads) will be featured on AMG stations’ websites to promote the Alaska Green Fair with average monthly page views of 140,844.
Print advertisements will be featured in the Alaska Star, Alaska Journal of Commerce and the Alaska Home Magazine.

The Anchorage Media Group is the producer of two very successful annual events, the Anchorage Wedding Fair and the Alaska Baby and Toddler Fair. Both are single day events with a traffic flow of 2,000 to 2,500 people.
The Anchorage Media group will be partnering with the Last Frontier Eco Alliance, who will run an evening Forum in the Egan Center after the days activities. The focus will be GREEN JOBS and clean energy economy workforce development.
Following the Forum their will be a Last Frontier Eco Alliance Fundraiser/ Party @ a local bar TBA.
During this April 11th Alaska Green Fair we will be organizing ourselves into a network of people with shared values -- Alaska Green Consumers -- which will strategically position us as a community to provide local businesses and corporations with incentive to become more socially responsible thru the execution of "carrotmob" reverse-boycott campaigns. We plan on putting together our first campaign for Earth Day April 22nd, and hope you will sign up on the 11th to participate.
